Grace Bible Church is a community of caring believers who are committed to trust and obey the one true God of heaven above who has been ultimately revealed in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. The law of Moses, the prophets, and the remaining writings of the Old Testament find their ultimate fulfillment in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. His sacrifice on the cross is of infinite value for sinners. All who place their trust in Him to save them from the penalty and power of sin find both the forgiveness of sin and the power to live on this earth in a manner that is pleasing to God and not enslaved to sin and its negative consequences.
We find our authority not in ourselves but in the Holy Scriptures, the Bible. We believe that the words of Scripture are God’s communication to mankind. When we believe and obey Scripture, we are believing and obeying God’s revelation to us.
We mature in the faith by studying and meditating on Scripture, by depending on God in prayer, by meeting regularly to worship God, by practicing believers baptism and the Lord’s Supper, by mutual accountability, and by practicing the 'one anothers’ of the Bible.
We are to love one another, help one another, encourage one another, rebuke one another, pray for one another, and stimulate one another to love and to good works.
We desire others to know the risen, living Christ and the forgiveness of sin that He alone provides to all who trust Him as Savior from sin. We are to do good to all mankind, but especially to those who are part of the community of believers.
At Grace Bible Church, we are committed to the teaching of God's Word, the Holy Bible, which is the whole counsel of God regarding all things necessary for the glory of God and for man's salvation, faith, and life. We believe that all Scripture is God-breathed and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
We believe and proclaim the doctrine of God's sovereignty, that God is sovereign in creation, providence, and salvation.
These truths are clearly revealed in Holy Scripture and have been cherished by believers throughout the history of the church.
